On this fabulous China tea tour, we will escort you to acquire a wealth of Chinese tea history and culture, experience the classical Chinese tea ceremony, taste green tea and black tea, pick different tea leaves and witness their making process, and marvel at the overwhelming natural and cultural attractions in China.
Detailed Itinerary
1Arrive in Shanghai (No Meal)

Arrive in Shanghai, be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Visit the Bund, a symbol of Shanghai and an epitome of Shanghai's modern history, where the past and the future meet with the colonial style buildings of the Bund facing the new futuristic buildings of Pudong. Then stroll at Nanjing Road, which is the one of the world's busiest shopping streets in the world.

2Shanghai (B, L)

In the morning, lead you to the beautiful Yu Yuan Garden in the downtown area. It was inaugurated in the Ming dynasty and has a total area of 20,000 square meters. As a paragon of the south Chinese landscaping style, it is a must-see attraction in Shanghai. Then visit Shanghai History Museum to take a look at Shanghai's history and culture. Later, head to a nearby water town Zhujiajiao water town, where you can experience the traditional lifestyle of Yangtze Delta.

3Shanghai - Hangzhou (B, L)

Transfer to the train station to take an express train to Hangzhou. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to boat at the West Lake. West Lake is the symbol of Hangzhou City, which is famous not only for its charming landscape but its cultural legacy. Then visit Lingyin Temple - one of the ten most famous ancient Buddhist monasteries in China. Next to the temple, go to the Feilai Peak, 209 meters (about 700 feet) tall, is a pure limestone mountain that is very distinctive from the sandstone mountain around it.

4Hangzhou (B, L)

After breakfast, visit the Chinese Tea Museum and experience the Chinese tea ceremony. Chinese Tea Museum is located in Longjing (Dragon Well) Village, west of charming West Lake, and covers an area of 22,000 square meters (about 5.4 acres) with a 3500 square meter (about 0.9 acres) construction area. Then visit a tea plantation, where you will pick tea (an hour), and watch frying tea process there.

5Hangzhou - Huangshan (B, L)

In the morning, meet the guide at the hotel lobby at the appointed time, drive about 3.5 hours to Huangshan City. Upon arrival, transfer to visit the Tunxi Old Street. Located at the center of Huangshan City and originated in Song Dynasty, Tunxi Old Street is now a pedestrian street where you can buy local souvenirs.

6Huangshan - Shexian (B, L)

Drive to Shexian County. Shexian County is not only renowned as Town of Culture for its sense of Hui culture, but also famous as the home of tea for the production of high quality tea in large quantity. In Shexian County, we will visit the Base Of Huangshan Maofeng Green Tea and watch the tea-making  process. Return to your hotel.

7Huangshan - Qimen (B, L)

After breakfast, drive to the Base of Keemun Black Tea in Qimen County, where we'll visit the tea plantation and watch the tea-making  process. Keemun black tea enjoys a globally high reputation and is hailed as the "Queen of Black Tea". Return to your hotel.

8Huangshan City - Mt. Huangshan (B, L, D)

Our destination today is the magnificent Yellow Mountain. Take a cable car up to the mountain and check into the hotel. Then visit the Brush Pen Peak, Lion Peak, and West Sea Grand Canyon. If the weather is fine we will enjoy the spectacular sunset glow at the Cloud Dispelling Pavilion.

9Mt. Huangshan - Exit (B, L)

Get up early to watch the incredible sunrise. After breakfast, visit the Beginning to Believe Peak, and then take a cable car down Yellow Mountain and drive to visit the world cultural heritage site - Hongcun Village, where the Oscar Winner "Couching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" was filmed. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
