1Arrival in Beijing (No Meal)
Arrive in Beijing. Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
2Beijing (B, L)

Full day trip lead you to 3 highlight spots: Tiananmen Square comes first. It is arguably claimed as the largest public square in the world. Then visit the Forbidden City, the largest imperial palace in China for 24 emperors' reign during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years. Later, go to the Temple of Heaven, where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God’s bless of the whole nation and it is regarded as a masterpiece of architecture and landscape design.

3Beijing (B, L, D)

In the morning, drive to the Great Wall, the symbol of China and one of the great wonders in the world. Ming Tomb is followed by the plan, which is an underground palace for Ming-dynasty emperors' afterlife. Then walk on the Sacred Road. It is affiliated with the Ming Tomb and considered to be the road leading to heaven. Tasty Peking Duck Banquet is waiting for you at night.

4Beijing - Xian by Flight (B, L)

Take rickshaw to Hutong, namely Beijing’s traditional alleyways, it can be regarded as a window into Beijing folk life. Then Take afternoon flight to Xian. Arrive at Xian, be met & transferred to your hotel. Evening is the free time for your own enjoyment.

5Xian - Chongqing (B, L)

Xian tour in-depth: in the morning, drive to the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum-- an army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at Emperor Qin's tomb since 2200 year ago. Then drive back to downtown to visit the Bell Tower, the largest and best preserved of its kind and first built in 1384. The Wild Goose Pagoda comes next. It is one of the famous Buddhist pagodas in China and situated at the south of Xi'an City. Take a late afternoon flight to Chongqing and board a cruise ship.

6Yangtze Cruise (B, L, D)

On board, shore excursion to "the Ghost City" - Fengdu or Shibaozhai depending on the schedule of the cruise companies. Since 2010, some cruise companies offer optional shore excursions during your cruise, please kindly check with your travel consultant for more information.

7Yangtze Cruise (B, L, D)

Today you'll get a close look of the enchanting landscape as you board a small boat and cruise along a tributary to the Yangtze to explore the exceptionally beautiful Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream depending on the arrangement of the cruise company.

8Yichang - Shanghai by Flight (B, L)

Shore excursion to the amazing Three Gorge Dam: it is the world's largest power station in terms of installed capacity (22,500 MW). Later, disembark at Yichang. After lunch, transfer to airport and fly to bustling Shanghai.

9Shanghai (B, L)

Full day trip to 3 attractions: first, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, 468-meter-high in total, its 267-meter-high ball has a revolving restaurant and a scenery-viewing platform that can accommodate 1,600 people. Secondly, pay a visit to Yu Garden to appreciate its brilliant historical garden art and have a leisure stroll in it. Jade Buddha Temple comes the third one, which is the most popular Buddhist temple in Shanghai boasting 2 precious jade Buddha sculptures from Burma.


10Shanghai (B, L)
Half day tour to a nearby water town-- Zhujiajiao ancient town to see the traditional life of Yangtze Delta--unique old bridges across bubbling streams, small rivers shaded by willow trees, and houses with courtyards. Then drive back to pay a visit to the Bund, the perfect combination of modern and past, it is Shanghai's famous waterfront to see new-erect modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period. By the side of the Bund, Nanjing Road is regarded as the busiest shopping street in Shanghai and brings you one-stop shopping fun.
