Just because you have kids doesn’t mean you have to stop travelling altogether. Bring them to Sichuan in the west of China and have fun with the pandas – it will be an interesting and delightful trip for everybody involved.
China’s most previous animals, the giant pandas look clumsy and slow, yet they are so clever that their ancestors have selected the wild Sichian Province as their eternal home. 85% of the country’s pandas live freely and happily in the deep mountains of Sichuan and enjoy their favorite food – the bamboos.
There are several panda bases and research centers in Sichuan, including Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, Bifengxia Panda Base and the newly built Dujiangyan Panda Base, where you can have a close contact with the big, cute pandas.
In spring, pandas will fall in love, and may get pregnant in summer. The new born panda cubs are about 10cm long and like a little pink mouse. You can also fulfill your dream of cuddling an adult panda and take a picture with it.
